Makan Club Luncheon, celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri

October 1 is Hari Raya Aidilfitri!  We join in wishing our Muslim friends Hari Raya!  Join us in celebrating on Oct. 5 (below).

** Oct. 5 – (Sunday), 1 PM.  Join us for another “Makan Club” at our top restaurant sponsor in the past three years, Top Spice Restaurant, 2997 Cobb Parkway Ste. 200, Atlanta, GA 30339. (770) 988-9007.   

Free rojak for all having a meal at Top Spice for this event. 

The meal will be a’ la carte so, order directly from the menu what you want to eat.  In addition to the regular menu items, Chef Howie will have the following special items for your choosing (descriptions at bottom of this message): 

  • Paan Mee  ($8.95)
  • Assorted 6 pieces Yong Tau Foo ($8.95) served in clear soup with rice, or curry mee style
  • Single portion Mutton (Goat) Nasi Biryani ($11.95)
  • Pulut Panggang at $2.00 per piece  

The above items will be available in limited quantities.  Please respond in the e-vite you received if you intend to order any of the above items - state what item and how many you intend to order.   

Please note that for all meal bills, tax and 18% gratuity will be added.

Item descriptions:

  • Pan Mee: Fresh handmade noodles in clear soup with ground meat, exotic mushroom top with fried anchovies
  • Yong Tau Foo: Tofu and veggies stuffed with fish/meat served in either clear or curry soup with a side of rice
  • Mutton Nasi Bryani: Middle-Eastern rice dish with mutton cooked with fragrant spices in basmati rice.
  • Pulut Pangang: Malaysian snack/appetizer - Spicy shrimp stuffing in sticky rice wrapped in banana leaf, and roasted.
